It was late in 2016 when I was at a fantastic event by the name of #Bizruption. You can find it on Meetup and it’s a wonderful Sydney Entrepreneur meeting.

I tend to get there any chance I can get and one time I was lucky to meet a very nice, kind, bubbly and warm ‘blonde lady’ who I thought was wonderful. We had a few glasses of wine, became pals and then we met up for a fantastic lunch the following week at the Grounds in Alexandria (which is one of those upmarket food halls so to speak).

We became pals and I got to know the awesome Nicole Davidson. She struck me as a brilliant woman who is moving upwards quickly and she told me all about this book she was writing.

A book you say? As a blogger my ears immediately pricked up and I was definitely interested. Going back before I met the awesome Nicole she started this journey to write a book.

I am going to tell you the truth. As a proud (and very successful) blogger, I am biased in the favour of blogging.

However, I WAS WRONG. Also proudly wrong I may add in that Nicole had a massive book launch party and it was wonderful. Must have been almost 100 people, she was selling the book like hotcakes and it successful positioned her as a TOTAL LEADER in what she does.

You may even say that I was impressed (which is quite for me) and it’s totally power to her. What this experience taught me and opened my eyes to is that it’s not so much the ‘book’ by itself (if that makes sense).

It’s the whole experience of the book. The launch party, giving it to media, using it as a tool to drive conversion, giving it away for free or even selling it; you use it as a tool to prove you are the CHIEF and COMMANDER of your industry

My advice and thinking? Buy it right here on Amazon and let is speak for itself.

Writing a book can be a massively powerful asset, and maybe friends – you may even get one of out me one of these days…

Love your work, thank you for taking the time to read it – and you rock Nicole Davidson!
