Wonderful people are out there – but you got to find them (Thank you friends at Condon, you rock!)

I have been busy counselling lots of single ladies and gentlemen lately who are beautiful, handsome, and fantastic; yet just can’t strangely find ‘the one’. Also, I have been teaching Sales & Marketing which is actually what I do for a living (with my awesome wife suggesting that I should make the Dating Coaching my ‘side hustle’).

I was actually working a client job tonight and as I was browsing my photos from 2016, I found this fantastic one (included) from the team at Condon Associates Group. I have been very lucky to work with and know these wonderful people and they are great people.

After mean years of working the streets and chambers of Sydney; I know lots of wonderful people.

My clients are wonderful and thank you!

HOWEVER, I can tell you that you have to get out there and look for wonderful people. In a big city like Sydney too, sometimes you have to watch yourself as there at times can seemingly be a ‘snake in the grass’ around the corner.

Interestingly just recently; I was invited to lunch (which I ended up paying for) by someone who pretended to be interested in my services. They then ‘sprung the trap’ and started hard selling me what they had with little care that it wasn’t for me. I just said goodbye, got up, removed that person from my on Social Media and moved on.

It happens! I have met some awful villains and lots of people in between, but the great news is that there are way more wonderful people than not wonderful people. Tragically I meet lots of wonderful people who lives aren’t working out for similar reasons to why mine wasn’t working out once in that they are surrounded the wrong people. People who are using them, sapping them and interestingly you see it in all forms.

From the beautiful woman with the loser man taking her money, the hardworking man with lazy co-workers that loaf off him or the underappreciated hard worker who no body tends to care about.

I think it’s time for us to only hang out with the ‘Awesome’ and ‘Wonderful’ and that has been my mandate lately. Besides wanting to fit that criteria myself (so I try and help people), it’s critical we move on from the toxic and go on the look-out for the nurturing.

My advice and thinking? You aren’t going to meet wonderful people behind your desk or on your couch (as I tried too for many years). You need to put on your walking boots, go to cool events, groups, meet people and just get out there.

You avoid the people that cause you trouble and go for WONDERFUL and AWESOME people. Like my friends in the photo they are out there. Get out there, explore and find them.

Not only will you have fun, but depending on what you do for a living – it can reward you rather handsomely (as I get lots of clients from events). Thank you for the read, here is to wonderful people and stay awesome!

P.S. Thank you friends from Condon – you all so rock and inspired this blog.

  1. Hi Edward,

It was by chance that I met you at a function that I attended with one of my work colleagues, and I am so glad we attended that night. I always read every one of your blogs and find each one positive, true and inspiring.

Hope you have the best week possible!
