Today I am very lucky to be enjoying myself at the Australian Franchise Support Alliance (“AFSA”) run by the kind Steven Clare. It’s basically a network for Franchisors and Franchisees and it’s a day of speakers that know their stuff.
I have actually started writing this article very early in the day to capture some of my key thoughts and my initial experiences. The first thing I have found is that every now and then, it’s great to really “Get Out of Your Head”.
I am listening to the Veteran Business Speaker Ralph Anania talking about his early experiences in Produce and his Business Career. In real time, he has made some great points that have got me thinking:
– You can have the best product, but it’s all about Customer Service and that Experience.
I like Ralph’s thinking and it’s a very compelling hearing that in it’s how I built my original business was all through Customer Service and Experience.
Talking more to Small Business Sales & Marketing in this case I have had plenty of amazing clients come through my doors. The ones that have taken my Sales & Marketing knowledge and been awesome successful entrepreneurs have always listened to my “Quality / Service” lecture.
That is, yes please have great technology, great strategies – HOWEVER you must have a key deliverance of quality at all times. As I listen in Real Time he also made another amazing point which I totally love “Negative Thinking” leads to “Negative Solutions” to problems. That is when you have a “Positive Mindset” you come up with better quality positive solutions that make your business and life easier. I even took a Diagram on the topic which I totally love:
My advice and thinking so far from the ASFA Event? It’s great to think things through, take some time out and let creative new ideas flow in super style which makes things happen.
