It’s been a tough (yet very awesome) 12 months for me on many levels. I have totally changed my life for the better and worked very hard and all along what has been happening in the world has really disturbed me.
One key right I believe we all have is the right to personal freedom. The right to say what we want. The right to feel safe. The right to be able to create life for yourself. The right to protect yourself and so forth.
Over the past few years especially in Australia; I have been feeling really frustrated that it’s been gradually taken from us.
It wasn’t just me as well. I went to the UK about 2 – 3 years ago and you couldn’t say what you wanted in case you would ‘offend’ someone. My friends in the US would always be attacked by the left for just being ‘white males’ and even worse; you can tell that the ‘establishment’ is trying to brain wash you 24 / 7.
Then a hero came along!
It was TRUMP. When he announced that he would go for president I called it from day one that he would win (a few of us did). His message of personal liberty and “Make America Great Again” totally resonated with me. Even though I am a proud Australian; the culture of America flows on straight to us.
The problem was that it was! Race baiting, the left creating their safe spaces, the removal of freedom of speech, rising taxes all were coming through. I got right into the Trump movement and I will tell you it’s been a tough one.
I have been accused of everything under the sun, have had people abuse me, unfriend me, become racist towards me and I will tell you at times it was tough. But, the facts were in and I knew this was the right track. It was hard for me, but I stuck to my guns. Even if say Trump lost; I would still stick to my guns fighting for our freedoms and right to choose what we want.
I will be straight up with you; at times I felt like giving up.
However, I didn’t and it was a fight to the end. The ending being:
Trump winning by a landslide!
I feel changed, improved and strengthened by this experience. Not because Trump won, but because I never gave up to right to the end.
My advice and lessons? Decide on what you believe with logic, facts and reason and stick to it. You may be up against millions of people and be incredibly unpopular – but the truth and freedom wins in the end.
This has changed my life for the better. My head is still buzzing.
