Truth be told; I am a massive South Park fan.

I have been watching it since the 90’s and I have very warm memories of the movie “South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut”.

I was at university in those days where I saw it at the movies, and I laughed so hard. I don’t think I have ever laughed so much in my life since then to the point where I thought I may literally DIE FROM LAUGHTER.

It was a great film and my favourite major character in South Park is yes of course, ‘Eric Cartman’. If you aren’t a South Park watcher, he is the little fit anti-hero / villain of the series. He is a complex character in that he is evil, yet at times he channels his evils to help his friends, protect the down and defend everyone.

My take is that Eric Cartman is naturally evil, but he uses his evil streaks for good causes (at times).

Evil or not, like him or not; Eric Cartman has shown some high levels of intelligence and is very entrepreneurial. If he wasn’t so evil or inconsistent, he would easily be a millionaire; but there is one trait of Cartman that I love.

  • He backs himself! He is confident! He makes bold moves! He takes charge! He is a natural leader.

This has always inspired me and in business today, I always tell my wonderful community members to make sure people follow the paradigm of:

  • “Respect my Authoritah!”

This is critical in that when we respect ourselves and exert deserved authority, it creates a situation where we can really help people. It also protects us from being taken advantage of which in being someone who lives in Sydney, this is extremely common.

In fact, we often get taken advantage of in that we don’t respect ourselves and people walk all over us. When we exert authority in relevant situations, we are in control and the odds of someone trying to attack you diminishes.

My advice and thinking? Act with authority and be the expert, AS YOU EARN THE RIGHT. If you are brilliant at what you do, then take charge.

People love that and why wouldn’t they? Everyone loves competent people.

Love your work, thank you South Park, Eric Cartman and the wonderful person who put this meme together!
