Keep Calm and Carry on Marketing

Keep Calm and Carry on Marketing

In running a small business and living life as an entrepreneur; there is always one fear I have and that if I am half intelligent I will always ask myself “Am I bringing in enough new customers?”

Even though I have incredible months that I am eternally grateful for, the smart people who stay in business through the long haul are masters at many things. Key points are bringing in money (i.e. cashflow) and always making sure there are enough customers coming in through the pipeline.

I look at it as this way in that you may have a great or poor month in terms of earnings; however you must know that you have customers coming in 3 months from now.

Interestingly as well, if I think of all the customers that I got last week they weren’t people that just discovered me all of a sudden and joined the community. They have known me for months, I have spoken to multiple times and eventually they felt the confidence and the timing was right for them to come into the system.

Whenever I worry about not enough customers I just remember this key frame “Keep Calm and Carry on Marketing”. It’s my own ‘Quantum of Solace’ with my own business and the more anxious I feel, is the more I market & sell.

Then as high value clients come my way, it chills me down and keeps me happy and focused on what matters.

My advice and thinking? Keep Calm and Carry on Marketing and don’t stop whatever you do. In fact, do more of it in that Marketing is the oxygen that grows our business and keeps things moving the way we want.

If you are in a bit of hot water client wise now (happened to me before), keep calm but Market & Sell Hard. That is how you dig yourself out of the hole and talking to the positive; build the business and life of your dreams.

Love your work, like & share and you stay awesome!

P.S. I did some research to find out where this cool meme originally came from (love your work Google).
