It’s 11:07PM as I write this blog, and I am honestly slightly worn after a WONDERFUL evening at NSW Business Chamber. This was their March 2018 Networking Event with a good 200+ people in high energy style connecting.
I was helping run the event that evening with one of my jobs to get the speakers pitching on the night nice and ready to present their 60 seconds to the room.
In most cases the wording was spot on, with the key area of my focus being getting the TONE, ENERGY and STRENGTH in how people said that they needed to say.
People had the right words, and I was helping them say it in the ‘right way’ so it perfectly persuades the subconscious minds on many levels. This is critical in making something really stick and get a hit on the audience.
If you say are selling your business and you don’t sound sure or speak with strength, people will subconsciously mark you down and I bet you know what I mean. Have you every had anyone tell you something that is 100% correct and you just don’t believe them? It’s probably the tone.
My advice and thinking? Whenever you sell or especially speak in public, make sure you really believe what you are saying and put it across with high energy and strength. This means being clear, being specific, and really putting high energy into what you are saying.
As you do this well, you will convince both the subconscious & conscious minds making just that better impression. For some it will take a big of energy on your end and that’s great. As you do it more, it shall get easier and easier. Just start today.
