Regardless of ones fear, you gotta keep Posting on Facebook. Smile and Stay Awesome!

You may have noticed that I have been doing some (well lots) of Facebook Work lately. Over the past 10 – 12 weeks, I have really upgraded my program doing everything from a good $40 – $60 per day of paid advertising, building my Page, putting out daily blogs as well as using lots of Facebook Video.

Even though it’s going really well now in terms of bringing me in great clients and engagement, I will have to tell you that it’s been a stressful yet profitable journey!

Don’t get me wrong, I am not complaining (as I love Facebook and it’s working just great for me), however in upgrading my content program and putting out more Video is has been a tough one.

With my actual Facebook Page, I did put out great content, however I didn’t put out a lot of it. I was always (incorrectly) sheepish about people unliking my page or even getting negative comments. Several months ago I started to realize the fallacy of my thinking in that I should let critics dictate how I market or my own success.

A great example of this was a Networking Group I used to help lead some years back. I did a great job, a few people hated me there, got together and then all conspired to kick me out. Great and good on them – as the door hit my butt on the way out, the last thing I did was give them any satisfaction and beyond that – I started speaking my mind more and more. It’s only led to my success grow and it’s been awesome!

In my old Networking Example, combined with pumping out Facebook Videos I got lots of criticism. Talking more Facebook, I got some unlikes, a few negative comments and it was tough but I kept working through it.

Then guess what happened after a few weeks? The Trolls Left and all that remained were the awesome!

It was only a minority 1% who caused me trouble and the 99% was great and today I am enjoying putting out lots of quality posts to keep things moving and effective. What I have found with Facebook is that one must put out lots of posts to make it work. For some a few a week may work, for my business – it’s about 3 – 4 posts per day that seems to be the trick.

That gets lots of engagement, great responses and is enough to help people learn what I do and hence hire me or Purchase my Online Product ‘The Awesome Marketing Vault by Edward Zia’. I personally like say 2 – 3 posts giving information and one being a direct sell. This has worked really well for me.

My advice and thinking? Depending on your frequency or whatever on Facebook, don’t let your critics/ trolls / haters push you around and influence your thinking. When I was pushed out of the door at the networking group and had people troll me on Facebook, blocking them and moving on fast is the best and most intelligent step.

While you listen to that 1% who hate you, there is this 99% WHO TOTALLY LOVE YOU! They matter and focus on them.

Love your work, thanks for the read and of course – Stay Awesome!
