If you have been following the politics in North America with the whole Trump Vs Hillary situation things have totally swung in the last month.

Originally it started out with Donald Trump saying arguably ‘crazy’ stuff and Hillary Clinton playing the ‘moderate statesman’. The media was totally against Trump and he did well – but still didn’t have the majority supporting him.

What Trump did incredibly well was ‘change’ his tactics throughout the campaign. He went from ‘right wing nutjob’ to ‘credible statesman’ in the past month with a major shakeup to his campaign (this included a major shakeup to the team, total change of tactics and appointment of Steve Bannon from Brietbart as the Campaign CEO).

Briebart is a quite a right wing alternative media source and I noticed that they are doing Trump’s dirty work. They are talking about Hillary’s Health, Clinton Foundation and scandals; allowing Trump to stick to the positive.

This has resulted in a massive swing in the polls with most now giving him a majority lead. Ironically now Hillary is on the defensive making totally gaffes. From the accidental of odd convulsions to the strange spasms; right through to intentionally calling half of Donald Trump supporters ‘Deplorables’. Hillary didn’t even hit Mexico to say hello. Really? Wow.

Strangely enough, the tables have turned. It’s an intelligent, reasonable and stable Donald – going up against a seemingly losing it Hillary.

To me, Donald’s wins are coming as a result of adjusting his tactics. He was going extreme and losing lots of people. So he listened. He stopped. He changed his tactics and now his is looking like the likely winner for the President of the World.

My lessons and thinking from all this one? Be willing to admit what is working and what’s not in your Marketing, Business and Life. Is something is going against you, stop it and change it!

If something is going really well, smile and do more of it!

It doesn’t take long to turn things around and you can tell Donald is very clever and adapting. For me, I have learned so much from him over the last decade.

He most certainly practices what he preaches.

Thanks for the read, love your work and stay awesome friends!
