Having your clear edge and then the guts to go hard with promoting it can be a challenge. But not for Scott Edmonds who inspired this article!

Having your clear edge and then the guts to go hard with promoting it can be a challenge. But not for Scott Edmonds who inspired this article!

I am very lucky to work with an array of totally awesome people. With many of the people I help we often have the conversation of “Finding Your Unique Profitable Edge” and how to leverage this to help one get lots of high value clients.

Today I was very grateful to work with Scott Edmonds who is a “Business Architect” that uses his own entrepreneurial & intuitive edge to pull businesses apart and put them back together in a more profitable manner.

We get along quite well for a lot of reasons and as you can tell by the photo – one key reason is that we are obviously “Eccentric” and “Quirky” type of characters. Sure, we may be strange by conventional logic, however make no mistake – we are sharp leaders and specialists in what we do.

When I was working with Scott and helping him package his natural brilliance into a Marketable Concept – it was very clear that he is certainly not an “Off the Shelf” type of Mentor / Business Consultant type of character.

I have seen him get some amazing results with clients that could not be done with a cookie-cutter process and the reality is that he is very different compared to many players in the industry operates. He works from his highly evolved intuitive space, he does amazing work and he actually picks up lots of players in the Accounting Space.

There are a lot of reasons of why he kicks butt and one of them is quite simply that he knows his edge, what makes him different and he has no fear or hesitation in marketing that.

Will everyone like his value offering? Of course they won’t – if they want to see so called “Processes” they may not be the ideal clients. However, if they are open to reason and potential clients that can think outside of the square, Scott Edmonds would be a very attractive asset to them.

My advice and thinking from all this and the inspiration from Scott today?

1) Find Your Edge: Think carefully, deeply, workout your advantage in the market.

2) Work / Express that Edge: You got to capture it into simple words / language so you can get the idea across.

3) Back yourself 100% and Market Hard! You got to market yourself with full confidence and no hesitation. When you do that, things can rock in total style.

I trust these awesome tips hope point you in the right direction of working out your true strength! Love your work & thanks!
