It was informative watching Michelle Bridges speak at the Business Event of the Year – 2014. Consistency was one of her main themes in fitness and life. This is critical in blogging and inspired this post!

After attending the “Business Event of the Year” at Campbelltown Catholic Club, we got to watch a range of speakers talk to the strengths of doing business in Sydney’s South West.  My first few clients came from this part of town and it was where 4Networking Australia started too!

The main Guest Speaker was the well known Fitness Celebrity Michelle Bridges.  She gave as a Motivational Speech in which she delivered some obvious points.  Even though the points where obvious, the reality is that very few are taking action on things and she had this great saying which I quite liked “JFDI”.  Obviously the initials can add up to a profanity driven motivational statement which I not only think is quite funny – it’s very true and quite logical.

As part of what Michelle spoke about was in a more general sense the importance of “Consistency”.  I couldn’t agree with her more and one reason why my Sales & Marketing + Business is working for that reason.  Talking Blogging in particular, my Blog as been an outstanding Marketing Strategy that has really taken my business to the next level.

I am sure there are few people out there that would ever disagree as to Blogging being an effective marketing strategy, BUT very few do it or do it in a worthwhile fashion.

Most I have seen blog “Here and there” and then write it off as a strategy that doesn’t work.  For me personally, I have blogged every day (sometimes more than once in a day) since the start of the year.  Sure, it’s quite a workload but that extreme, consistent work has given me so much business, exposure, public speaking and is growing my business beyond anything more I can do physically.

Am I saying you have to do once per day? No, however if lets say you do once per week, you need to be blogging & posting consistently.

Why is that though as a rhetoric question? Well:

– You got to post often to grab people even once.

– You got to post often to grab people heaps of times.

– You got to post often to really make that continual impression.

– You got to post often with strong consistency to help you get more sales and business in.

It’s as simple as that and beyond blogging, any form of Sales & Marketing needs to be consistent for it to really hit the mark and work.

I trust that helps and speaking of Consistent Marketing, if you love the way I think – make sure you check out my Online Course “The Awesome Marketing Vault” right here!

Happy days friends and nice one from Edward Zia – Consistent Marketing Mentor.
