The Lovely Jude Dowsett. I am very lucky to have her in my life and glad she has been looking after me today. Nothing speeds up recovery better than some TLC!

With an awesome thanks to lovely Jude for looking after me, the 4Networking Inner West Team for doing the lot and the 3 x appointments I cancelled today – this has been MY FIRST real sick day ever since I started my business. I woke up, I could barely stand up, I was questioning which of Australia’s cities I was in and walking up stairs was quite a marathon.

As time passed in the morning I realized, “Uh Oh” I am in a bit of trouble.  By about 8:30AM I cancelled my whole day and Jude came up from Wollongong to take care of me which was just great! I slept for most of the day, up now at about 5PM to do my blog and answer emails and this whole experience has got me reflecting on “Automation”, “Health” and those critical areas.

Talking more to “Business Automation”, I am so glad I have been working that area hard.  Even though I didn’t leave my house today, my Online Marketing is busy promoting me while I am resting.  In getting sick like this, it has reminded me that bit more as to the importance of automation – it’s a nice thought knowing I am being promoted while I am not running around town.

Secondly, it’s reminded me as to the importance of “Health”.  I remember being an employee, when you get sick – who cares? You just take some time off and it’s all fine. You get sick longer, take an extra day off! You have sick leave right? Yay!

In your own business, not at all! When you get sick it influences and impacts what are are doing and depending on the nature of your business it does directly impact your revenue.  About 12 months ago, I started working very heavily on the automation in my business and it’s been great.  My Online Marketing Program has been brilliant and for me a great deal of the focus has been now getting up my “Online Product Sales” – so I don’t only get the automated marketing support, BUT I also get automated revenue (which is a very awesome topic to me!).

My advice and learning from getting sick like this? Reality says at times you are going to have to work hard, do some hours and you are just going to get sick every now and then.  You want to make sure that you make your life and business are as automated as possible.  This can be through staff, online products, automated email responders, video content or whatever the case.

I am looking forward to resting till morning and joining the land of the living very soon! Thank you for your great support everyone and love your work! Edward Zia – Marketing Mentor Blogging is way back to 100% Health!
